Domaine du Bourdonneau

Located in Gorges, in the village of Simplerie, the Domaine du Bourdonneau is located as close as possible to the roots of Gorges and the gabbro terroir, next to the quarry.

Initially established in the village of Guisseaux, the Rineau family settled on the other bank of the Sèvre Nantaise to develop the estate.

4th generation of winegrowers in the family tradition, Thierry joined forces with his father and took over the torch of the estate in 1992.

The estate extends over 16 hectares around the cellar, in Gorges.

Thierry has chosen responsible viticulture by validating the Terra Vittis certification which guarantees a real environmental commitment on his plots, supplemented by the HVE (High Environmental Value) label.

These guarantees of quality enhance its daily work to offer you a varied range of wines: Muscadets, Cru Gorges, red wine, rosé wine, traditional method and grape juice.

The tasting cellar is open by appointment only.

The domain opens its doors on the 2nd weekend of December, ideal for preparing your Christmas tables and parties.

You can find its wines in certain restaurants and cafés in Pays de la Loire.

The estate received the Gold Medal for its Muscadet 2020 at the Gorges municipal competition in 2020, as well as the Bronze Medal at the Paris 2022 competition for its Muscadet 2021

Thierry was also part of the jury for the Paris wine competition in 2022.
